The Great Sanddunes National Park and Preserve

This past weekend my family and I went to the Great Sanddunes National Park and Preserve down near the San de Cristos mountains here in Colorado. We just stayed overnight and didn’t do very much hiking since the ground was so hot but it was fun to play in the river and hike up Zacata Falls near this monument. My best friend came on the trip with me which made it 10 times as fun.

 

 

Inside the Cabin, we had a lot of fun avoiding the heat.
