~Serenity Springs Wildlife Refuge

{ my favorite animal of all time is the tiger. This Sunday my daddy took me to see these beautiful creatures up close, instead of in the zoo where they are always hiding in the foliage. I have to admit at first I was a little frightened because the animals would walk right up to the wall of the cage. I would be within 3 feet of the enormous animal. As I would walk alongside the fence to catch up to the quick-moving tour, the tigers would jog along side me (on the other side of the fence of course!) Then later my father allowed me to actually hold a baby tiger, who was not happy in the least. He scratched my arm multiple times, but those quickly healed. I desperately wish to go back with my nicer camera now. }

{ the animals didn’t seem to mind how close I got, and often times just ignored me; even though  they did make it clear they knew I was there. }
